ADAD Engineering Services undertakes to conduct its business in such a way as to ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees, visitors and general public.
ADAD will as far as is reasonably practicable:
- Prevent exposure to work that is likely to cause injury.
- Reduce the risk of injury to those involved.
ADAD Responsibilities
- Identify whether formal assessment is required.
- Ensure that risk assessments have been undertaken where required.
- Implement Health and Safety control measures where appropriate.
- Ensure that affected employees are suitably trained and informed.
Employee Responsibilities
- Follow all systems of work laid down for their safety.
- Make full and proper use of equipment provided for their safety.
- Report any defects in systems, practices or equipment.
- Attend training, when required to do so.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others.
- Inform their manager when they believe that there is a risk of injury.
Non Compliance
All employees have a role to play in enforcing the policy and are required to deal with any observed or reported breaches. Should employees feel apprehensive about their own safety in regard to addressing any breach, they should seek senior management support.
Failure to comply with this policy may lead to a lack of clarity over job role, learning needs or expected standards of performance, resulting in reduced effectiveness or efficiency, underperformance and putting service delivery at risk.
Any member of staff refusing to observe the policy will be liable to disciplinary action in accordance with ADAD’s Disciplinary Policy up to and including dismissal.
ADAD RECOGNISES THAT IT HAS A RESPONSIBILITY TO THE ENVIRONMENT BEYOND LEGAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
The aim of this policy is to ensure ADAD minimises the impact of its activities on the environment by continually improving its environmental performance as part of our business strategy and operating methods.
This policy aims to:
- Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
- Incorporate environmental factors into business decisions.
- Minimise waste by ensuring operations are as efficient as possible.
- Increase employee awareness of environmental factors.
ADAD will:
- Reduce packaging as much as possible.
- Reuse and recycle where possible.
- Seek to reduce the amount of energy it uses.
- Evaluate the environmental impact of new products it purchases.
- Reduce the need to travel where possible.
- Encourage the use of greener transport.
Employee Responsibilities

ADAD ENGINEERING SERVICES ENCOURAGES A CULTURE OF HONESTY AND TRUST. ADAD IS 100% COMMITTED TO THE VALUES OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY IN DELIVERING QUALITY AND VALUE TO CLIENTS
In compliance with ADAD Policies, local and international laws, the following guidelines strictly prohibit acts of bribery involving ADAD personnel, Clients or Contractors/Sub-contractors, or any person present on ADAD Engineering Services premises.
- Employees must not accept/offer cash or gifts from/to any business official whose decision, action or behavior may be affected by the token of value presented.
- Employees must not accept/offer cash or gifts from/to any business official to gain or retain business.
- Employees must not accept/offer cash in the form of kickbacks from/to any business official to gain or retain business.
- Employees must not accept/offer facilitation payments from/to any business official to perform/speed up approvals or existing duties.
- Employees must not limit, misclassify, obstruct or inaccurately record financial transactions. All financial reporting must follow specified and accurate accounting processes for all transactions.
- Employees must not misuse power/influence/professional contacts for private/ professional gain, or to gain/retain business, or promise to influence a person in official or professional capacity.
- Employees must ensure procedures of Procurement/Tendering are free of bribery/corruption. Contractor/Sub-Contractor selection must never be on the basis of a gift or cash.
- Employees must ensure procedures of Procurements/Tendering follow Company Policy, with detailed documentation.
- Employees must ensure the evaluation process of third-party proposals is free from bribery and corruption. No party should have unfair advantage of closed-door negotiations during/after the bidding process. All bidders must be selected on the basis of merit, price and quality.
- Employees may only offer/accept a gift worth USD100, provided written approvals have been given/taken in advance by The Management.
ADAD Engineering Services takes cases of bribery very seriously. Any violation of ADAD’ Anti-Bribery Policy will result in strict disciplinary action, to the extent of termination of employment.
Bribery is a criminal offense, punishable by law. Accountability for accepting, offering, authorizing or assisting in a case of bribery will result in punishment against The Employee(s) as an individual(s). Punishment may include monetary fines (not paid by ADAD Engineering Services), probation, to the extent of imprisonment.
At ADAD Engineering Services, we encourage reporting of bribery. All suspected violations must be reported immediately to the Manager, Legal Department, HR Department or Senior Management.
